A brand ambassador for Odisha, a flag bearer for India, a beauty queen and just 12 years old. Odisha girl Padmalaya Nanda is on top of the world after she was declared winner of the Little Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant.
The young diva also bagged titles of 'Little Miss Universe Grand Prix', 'Little Miss Universe Internet 2017' and 'Little Miss Actress', becoming the youngest one to do so in her crowning glory.
For young Padmalaya she has her task cut out for herself, which is to bring her “beautiful Odia culture and traditions” on the map of the world.
Though the girl is not clear about what she would want to be in life when she grows up but her vision is set on promoting the culture of her state of Odisha.
Aged just 12, Padmalaya shows great maturity as she shares about her passion to work for the underprivileged children.
The young passionate girl told that she always celebrates her birthday in an orphanage called Swami Bichitrananda Kalyan Ashram.
